Recipes Using
5 Star Coconut Pie
1. Pina Colada Pie- Add 1 package of instant
vanilla pudding, 1 large can of crushed pineapple,
undrained, 1 cup of cool whip and 1 package
of 5 Star Coconut Pie. Pour into a prepared
graham cracker crust. If you prefer a more
firm pie, add 1 package of cream cheese.
Let set in fridge for at least 1 hour. For
decoration, you can put a thin layer of cool
whip on top with some toasted shredded coconut.
2. Pina Colada Dip- Mix together 1/2 package
of Coconut Pie, 1/4 package of Lemon Fruit
Dip, 1 package of cream cheese, 1 small can
of crushed pineapple (drained well). Mix
together first, then slowly add dollops of
cool whip as needed to achieve desired consistency
of dip. Serve with fresh fruit.
3. Almond Joy Pie- Mix the 5 star coconut
pie mix as directed on the package. (omitting
the meringue) Bake the pie crust a little
before putting in the mixture. Pour half
of the mixture into the pie shell, a layer
of almonds, a layer of semi sweet morsels,
and top with remaining mixture. Bake another
10 minutes and then top with another layer
of almonds and semi sweet morsels. Then place
back in oven just long enough to melt the
morsels. Cool completely.
